Egyptian digital payments startup Fawry listed its shares on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

Egyptian digital payment startup Fawry goes public on the Egyptian Stock Exchange at a $366 Million market cap and it is the first IPO in the country this year.

Fawry was founded by Ashraf Sabry (Founder & CEO) and Mohamed Okasha (Co-founder & Managing Director) in 2008.

They have its online payment platform that allows online businesses to collect payments from their customers using different methods including cash, credit cards, and mobile wallet. They offer financial services to over 20 million customers in Egypt including payers, businesses and major financial institutions.
